These are commercial-grade machines built around a 20-to-25-year service life, with serviceable mechanical parts rather than sealed assemblies. A 15-year-old Speed Queen with a failed belt, seal, motor coupling or timer is often the best-value repair in the house, because what you are keeping is a machine nobody builds at that price any more. We will still check the actual fault before saying so — but we replace far fewer Speed Queens than we do other brands.
F1 points to a water inlet fault — the machine cannot fill, usually a blocked inlet valve, hose or filter screen. F2 points to a drainage fault — it cannot empty, usually the drain hose, pump or filter. Both are worth a look before you call: check the hoses and filters first. If they are clear, the valve or pump is the likely culprit and that is a diagnosis job.
