Why do you not publish a price for every repair?

Because we would be guessing, and a guessed price is either padded to protect us or too low to honour. The same symptom has cheap causes and expensive ones — a fridge that will not cool might be a fan, a thermistor or a sealed system. We diagnose the actual fault first, then quote it in writing. The number you are given is the number you pay.

What exactly does the $89 cover?

A technician coming to your home, diagnosing what has really failed, and giving you a written quote before any work starts. It is the whole fee for that visit — not a booking deposit, and not a call-out charge with diagnosis billed on top.

Do I still pay the $89 if I go ahead with the repair?

No — it is waived once you approve the repair. You pay the quoted repair price and nothing else on top for the visit.

And if I decide not to repair it?

You pay the $89 and that is the end of it. You will know exactly what failed and what fixing it would cost, which is what you need to decide whether to replace instead. Paying $89 to find out beats spending on a new appliance you may not need.

Is air conditioning priced differently?

Yes — air conditioner service starts at $145, separate from the $89 appliance service call, because it is different work with different equipment.

Do you charge more for evenings, weekends or distance?

The service call is the same flat $89 across everywhere we cover. If a job ever carried a surcharge you would be told before booking, not shown it on the invoice.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. The written quote you approve includes labour, parts and the service call — there is nothing added afterwards. If something unexpected is found once the appliance is open, we stop and re-quote rather than carry on and bill you for it.

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit and debit cards, cheque and cash. Payment is collected once the repair is complete and tested — not up front.

What if I am not satisfied with the repair?

Tell us. Every repair carries a written 90-day parts and labour warranty, so if the same fault returns we come back and put it right. If something about the visit itself fell short, we would rather hear it and fix it than have you not call again.
