Out-of-balance squirrel-cage blower wheel, worn motor bearings, or loose duct collar transmitting vibration to drywall. We re-balance the wheel before replacing motor.
Clogged baffle / mesh grease filters, kinked or undersized ductwork, missing back-draft damper, or recirculating-only conversion. We measure CFM at the hood mouth.
Burnt halogen / LED bulbs, failed light socket, dead light driver board, or broken touch-control switch. LED drivers fail more than bulbs after 5 yrs.
Failed touch-membrane keypad, dead control board, faulty ribbon cable, or moisture damage from cooking steam. We test ribbon continuity before replacing the panel.
Stuck motorized damper, failed back-draft flap (passive), broken duct tape / mastic at joints, or 240V step-down for European hoods. We seal & re-strap the duct run.

I was very pleased with their knowledgeable, friendly, professional, efficient, reasonable, and honest service. The water dispenser on my Samsung fridge wasn't working well. From the initial phone inquiry, they were able to identify the likely issue. The technician was very friendly, quickly found the problem, completed the repair in under 30 minutes, and cleaned up everything before leaving. I would definitely call them again if needed.

A long overdue review. I've had Appliance Forever take care of both my dishwasher and my range. Each experience was professional, pleasant, and I was very satisfied with the outcome of the work. Most common causes are a clogged grease filter, blocked ductwork, failed blower motor, or a stuck damper. We inspect the full vent run, not just the hood.
Failing blower bearings, loose mounting hardware, or debris in the impeller. Continued use can damage the motor — book service when noise starts.
Yes — we service both ducted and ductless (recirculating) range hoods, including under-cabinet, wall-mount, island chimney, and downdraft systems from all major brands. For ductless models we also check and replace the charcoal filters, which are the most common cause of weak extraction and lingering odours.
Aluminum mesh filters: clean monthly. Charcoal recirculating filters: replace every 3-6 months. Replacing on schedule prevents motor strain and grease buildup.
Yes — we replace failed blower motors, capacitors, speed-control switches, and the integrated cooktop lights or LED panels. If the motor is noisy or the fan has stopped, we diagnose whether it is the motor, the control board, or a wiring fault, and fit OEM parts where available.
